Embellished hip hop music with trap themes. I use diverse sounds with multiple tones and mediums.
Who are the Top 5 artists (dead or alive) that inspires you as an artist?
I love Andre 3000, Tupac, Drake, and Lil Wayne, not only from a music standpoint but also from a generational influence point of view. They greatly influenced the culture.
How did you know this was something you wanted to do?
Once I did time in prison, I started to make music and began to take life seriously because I realized the severity of the harsh reality of my situation. I noticed the whole facility would start to sing, and recite the music I was making. That inspired me to take it another level when I came home.
What is the name of the first track you ever recorded?
My first track was called “History,” which I made when I was just 11 years old.
What’s the craziest thing you have ever done?
Putting my son Kash on the latest track called “Tien!” I love the little man so I was like, why not!?
Tell us about your first performance.
My first performance was a beautiful thing honestly because I was so nervous to the point I could’ve thrown up. However, I adapted and broke out of my shell. Whenever I perform I think back to that day and turn up 10 times harder and give the people exactly what they want.
What has been your favorite quarantine hobby?
Raising my son to be a great man one day! He’s my inspiration to make it, along with helping my friends. I want my son to know that his dad is in his life.
What Made You Submit Your Music To Who’s Next?
Two years ago, I was in this same competition going up against Vina Love as a runner up and lost. So one day my manager and I were thinking why not give it another try! It paid off!
