ABOUT DJ YOUNG CHOW
For Young Chow, DJing isn’t a hobby; it’s a lifestyle that he was born into.
The Young Chow brand is more than your ordinary entertainer or DJ: It’s a fashion enthusiast, an entrepreneur, a Baron Tequila Brand Ambassador, and more!
His father, King Chow, was a Soca DJ and started his son’s interest in music when he was just a toddler. When Young Chow was 9, he played at his first party in Miami at the Ramada Hotel, and from that day forward, he knew he was going to be something in the entertainment industry. At Age 11, DJ Young Chow traveled to Africa with a steel band music instrument group, an experience that helped change his life forever. From that point, he fell in love with the feeling of traveling and doing what he loves: DJing.
Throughout the years, Chow began putting together his own events and branding himself as one of the most popular nightlife entertainers in New York City. In 2009, he started representing for Funk Flex’s Big Dawg Pitbull Crew, and in 2010, he toured with reggae artist, Gyptian. From 2009 to the present, he brings down arenas all over the world from Japan, Haiti, and St. Vincent, to Trinidad, Jamaica, China, Mexico, and more. In 2016 alone he traveled to Dubai, Japan, and Europe on a global tour, and even had time to debut his first single, “Waist Gal,” produced by Ricky Blaze.
Young Chow’s goal as a DJ was always to be on HOT 97, and now you can tune in to him as he brings the same energy that he showcases in the clubs straight to your radio!
