Fivio Foreign had a few things to get off his chest!
During an Instagram Live video, Fivio started off the video by saying “French Montana wildin.” Then Fivio talks about his fellow Brooklyn rapper, Mr. Swipey, who was recently welcomed into the Coke Boy family. Mr. Swipey is an upcoming artist, however, Fivio called
French Montana out for having Swipey I’m his videos as a “background dancer.”
“He gon’ have Swipey spinning and dancing in every video life if he’s some type of back up dancer.” Fivio went on to say, “He ain’t no backup dancer for you n*gga. You ain’t about to use drill beats and have n*ggas spinning, put that n*gga on a song.”
Fivio mentioned that he’s an upcoming artist himself and fairly new to the scene so he’s not in a position to put Mr. Swipey on, the way French Montana is. Fivio mentioned how French has been in the game for over a decade and didn’t give back to the culture.
Fivio gave Meek Mill and Drake their props for working with him musically, Drake has an unreleased track with the Brooklyn rapper and Meek appeared on Fivio’s latest mixtape, 800 B.C.
Mr. Swipey addresses the situaion in a video and said that French Montana has looked out for the hood, for people like Gs9, Pop Smoke, and more. He also thanked “his dawgs” for checking on him, but mentioned that wasn’t the way to go about it.
Mr. Swipey also has a song with French Montana, “You Wildin.”
