Tony Yayo wasted no time reacting to Jim Jones’ recent comments about the G-Unit rap star while talking to veteran rap star Memphis Bleek over the weekend on Artist 2 Artist.
Yayo responds to Jim Jones’ comments on Instagram with his vintage music video, “Do It Right,” featuring French Montana and Max B. Max has a well-known rivalry with Jim Jones. Yayo shared the video on his Instagram Story from the popular IG account @pvtlstd_. Fans immediately associated the post as the 50 Cent protege taunting Jim Jones.
The issues between Tony Yayo and Jim Jones resurfaced recently due to Yayo’s comments about Memphis Bleek. Yayo told Club Shay Shay host Shannon Sharpe that Bleek’s mentor, Jay-Z, doesn’t help any of his proteges. Jim would slam Yayo while talking to Memphis Bleek about the comments.

“Tell your man 50 to send you an ounce or something,” Jones fired, mocking Yayo’s dependency on his G-Unit partner, 50 Cent.
The Harlem native went on to accuse Yayo of hypocrisy, arguing that he shouldn’t criticize other artists’ loyalty while benefiting from long-standing alliances himself. Yayo posting a song with Max B speaks to Jones’ recent comments about possibly making amends with The Wave God after he is released from prison in the coming weeks.
Social media would pull up previous comments of Yayo talking about the way Jones handled his late artist, Stack Bundles, who was gunned down in 2007. Jimmy has spoken on Stack’s passing on multiple occasions. He shared that he tried to move him out of the hood before he passed.
Jones’ beef with Yayo adds to his long-running issues with 50 Cent. 50 Cent and Jones have mocked each other on social media for years. Outside of the music video, Yayo has not weighed in on his issues with Jones or the comment yet.
The feud follows Jim Jones’ on-and-off-again feud with fellow Dipset member Cam’Ron. Cam’Ron and 50 Cent recently announced plans to develop a television adaptation of the crime classic, Paid In Full.
