Nicki Minaj is more than a supporter of President Donald Trump; she’s his biggest fan.
On Wednesday (Jan.28), President Donald Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent hosted a “Trump Accounts Summit” in Washington, D.C. Among the guest speakers was Nicki Minaj, who referred to herself as Trump’s “No.1 fan,” and accused others of “bullying” him. “I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan. That’s not going to change,” Minaj said as she stood at the podium with Trump by her side.
She makes it clear that she has not been swayed by the criticism or “hate” she’s been receiving for supporting the controversial president. “It does not affect me at all,” Minaj said.
“God is protecting him,” Nicki Minaj Says
Minaj says the criticism she’s received only motivates her to “support him [Trump] more.”
She continued, “It’s gonna motivate all of us to support him more.” The “Starships” rapper also made it a point to call out the president’s “bullies.” She added, “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and, you know, the smear campaigns: It’s not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen.”
Back in December, the rapper turned heads for her appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest. Throughout her conversation with Erica Kirk—the wife of late right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk—Nicki Minaj discussed her ongoing beef with California Gov. Gavin Newsom. The rapper also shared her thoughts on Donald Trump’s administration. Minaj specifically commented on Newsom’s support for gender affirming care for transgender youth.
