A violent altercation at ComplexCon involving rapper Lucki and members of Playboi Carti’s entourage is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department as an attempted murder case, according to reports.
Videos circulating online show a chaotic confrontation during the 2026 festival. Lucki, the Chicago rapper, appeared to suffer an injury to his neck. Several other people were also injured during the fight.
In one video, Lucki appears disoriented with blood visible around his neck. He approaches a Mercedes and initially appears to try entering the front seat. He is then directed toward the back before the vehicle leaves the area.
TMZ reported that four people were injured. Three were hospitalized and listed in stable condition. Another person reportedly made their own way to a hospital.
No arrests have been reported. Authorities have not said how many people were involved or identified potential suspects.
The circumstances surrounding the confrontation remain unclear. Online reports have linked the incident to alleged tensions between Lucki and Carti. However, Lucki has previously dismissed the notion of a feud with the Atlanta rapper.

In an interview with Kids Take Over, Lucki said he could “never” have a beef with Carti because of their shared history.
“I got like a soft spot for Carti,” Lucki said. He credited Carti with creating a distinct artistic identity from a young age.
“He the first person I know that I’ve seen in person myself… make his own world for himself,” Lucki said. “I seen him make it when we was kids.”
Lucki also publicly supported Carti after the release of “BACKR00MS,” his collaboration with Travis Scott. In a message to Carti, Lucki praised the track and its imagery.
The altercation occurred as ComplexCon marked its 10th anniversary. The festival brings together music, fashion and popular culture.
Ken Carson headlined Saturday’s program, with Carti making an appearance. Carti was scheduled to headline Sunday’s festivities.
It was not immediately clear whether the incident would affect his performance. The LAPD investigation is ongoing as authorities work to establish what led to the confrontation.
