Chicago rapper Lucki Camel Jr. is facing a federal lawsuit from his former manager, who claims the artist owes at least $1.5 million in unpaid commissions and expenses tied to his entertainment career.
Mark Buol filed the suit in Manhattan federal court, alleging Lucki breached a 2021 management agreement that entitled Buol to 15% of the rapper’s entertainment income.
The agreement also allegedly required Lucki to reimburse expenses Buol advanced on his behalf. According to the complaint, those costs escalated during Lucki’s 30-city GEMINI Tour.
Buol claims he spent $214,822 on travel, hotel accommodations, production, rentals and other tour-related expenses. He alleges Lucki had promised to establish a business bank account and provide a business credit card before the tour.
Neither arrangement allegedly materialized, according to the complaint. Buol says he instead relied on personal savings and credit cards to cover Lucki’s expenses, “substantially deplet[ing] his liquid savings and max[ing] out his personal credit cards.”

The former manager also alleges Lucki incurred thousands of dollars in hotel damage charges at properties in Atlanta, Tampa and Dallas.
At Nobu Atlanta, the rapper allegedly “smashed a television” and left burn marks on furniture that Buol attributed to marijuana cigarettes. The complaint also alleges Lucki incurred more than $6,000 during one night at The Tampa EDITION and caused damage at the Thompson hotel in Dallas.
Buol claims he advanced approximately $15,000 to cover hotel damage charges.
In addition to those expenses, Buol alleges Lucki owes more than $1 million in management commissions stemming from touring, merchandise, publishing, royalties and recorded music.
The suit asserts claims arising from the alleged breach of their management agreement and seeks at least $1.5 million in damages, plus interest. Buol also asks the court to order an accounting of the rap star’s entertainment earnings.
Lucki has not publicly responded to the allegations. The claims have not been proven, and the complaint represents Buol’s allegations.
