The notable drug kingpin and the cofounder of BMF (Black Mafia Family), Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory has been denied prison release.
Reported on All Hip Hop, Big Meech won’t be considered to be released early from prison due to disciplinary violations. He had a chance to have the remainder of his 30-year sentence count as time served, it appears as though he’ll have to wait longer.
Legal documents say that Big Meech has a history of not following the rules during his time behind bars. He reportedly illegally had a cell phone, and due to behavior, the courts feel he hasn’t proved that he won’t break the rules being a free person. He has 100 more months left on his sentence according to HNHH.
Big Meech’s brother, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, the other co-founder BMF, was released early from prison a few weeks after the pandemic hit, due to COVID-19 health concerns.
Back in 2007, Big Meech was sentenced to 30 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to being involved with the Black Mafia Family (BMF) drug trafficking organization with his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who received a 25-year sentence. BMF was one of the most powerful cocaine empires in America that reportedly made nearly $270 million in profits over 15 years.
50 Cent is gearing up to release his BMF series, which tells the story of the two brothers. There’s no official release date as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
