Hip-Hop mogul 50 Cent says he has reunited with rap icon Eminem for a new song created for the upcoming Street Fighter film, revealing that the track will also feature previously unreleased vocals from late hip-hop legend 2Pac.

The announcement, made during an appearance on TODAY, signals a high-profile musical collaboration that bridges multiple generations of rap. It also places one of the genre’s most influential voices on the soundtrack through archival recordings rather than artificial intelligence.

“I did something currently, me and Eminem and Tupac,” 50 Cent said. “It’s actually for the theme for Street Fighter, the movie.”

He added, “It’s coming out shortly.”

The project marks the first major collaboration between 50 Cent and Eminem in several years. The pair helped define mainstream hip-hop in the early 2000s following 50 Cent’s breakthrough under Eminem’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.

Addressing Tupac’s role in the recording, 50 Cent stressed that the song uses authentic, previously unreleased material from the late rapper instead of AI-generated vocals. The distinction comes as the music industry continues to debate the ethical and legal implications of artificial intelligence in posthumous releases.

When asked whether Tupac’s estate approved the project, 50 Cent indicated the collaboration received the necessary support.

“We worked on it, and got it right,” he said, adding that Tupac’s family and estate “loved it.”

The collaboration immediately generated excitement across social media. Fans praised the prospect of hearing Eminem alongside new 2Pac vocals, a pairing that has never appeared on an official commercial release.

The announcement also highlights 50 Cent’s growing presence across film, television, and music. He has expanded his entertainment portfolio through producing and acting. The film’s soundtrack brings him back to hip-hop alongside one of his closest collaborators.

If released as described, the song would unite 50 Cent, Eminem and Tupac Shakur on a single record. It creates one of the most anticipated soundtrack collaborations in recent memory. Street Fighter hits theaters October 16, 2026.
