Last night (June 2), Cardi B had one of the most exciting performance of the night as she brought out Yung Miami, her husband Offset, and Lil Nas X with Billy Ray Cyrus to perform their hit “Old Town Road.”
Years before, Cardi B was just making a splash in the hip hop scene with the track “Bodak Yellow.” Remy Ma decided to bring her out as part of her set, and to show unity between women in hip hop.
Cardi B went on Instagram to thank Remy Ma for giving her the opportunity to give her first taste of the Summer Jam stage.
“First and only time I did summer jam.I was nervous as fuck and Remy gave me the opportunity..FOREVA grateful .Im nervous today like that day….see ya later,” she wrote.
Remy Ma responded, “Girllllll you gonna body just like you did then.”
