Good deed! The Shawn Carter Foundation has partnered with Toyota, and will be touring High School students to 11 different historically black institutions. The tour will travel starting in Washington, D.C and ending in Atlanta.
During the tour the students will have access to resume-building seminars, and meeting with the school’s admissions counselors. Although Jay-Z wont be present for the tour, it is his hope that the students will decide to attend HBCU’s once they’re ready for college.
This is great! The foundation has also invited 125 schools in the New York/ New Jersey area to take college prep workshops leading up to the tour!
