Singer RAYE is setting the record straight about her relationship with award-winning actor Michael B. Jordan after their recent amusement park outing sparked romance rumors.
The British singer addressed the speculation during an interview with Extra on Sunday. RAYE said she and the Sinners star are friends, not a couple.
“No, we’re just friends who like roller coasters,” she said.
The rumors began after RAYE and Jordan were spotted together at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, on Aug. 7. The pair enjoyed several rides during the outing, prompting fans to wonder if there was more to their connection.
RAYE suggested there is another reason they have been spending time together. She revealed that she and Jordan are working on an undisclosed project.
“I’m technically not allowed to talk about it because I might get in trouble,” she told Extra.
During a separate Entertainment Tonight interview, RAYE offered another glimpse into their professional relationship.

“We’ve been working on some things, which is really nice,” she said. “I love it.”
RAYE also referred to Jordan as a “lovely friend.”
The singer later opened up about her own approach to dating. RAYE said she is excited about love but does not want to force a relationship.
“I’m really excited, but also not forcing that chapter,” she explained.
“It just needs to find you naturally, you know,” RAYE continued. “They do say love finds you when you stop looking.”
For now, the “Where Is My Husband!” singer said her attention remains on work and everyday life.
“So, I’m just out here doing my work, getting it done, getting sleep when I can,” she said.
Jordan’s last high-profile relationship was with Lori Harvey. The pair dated from 2020 until their 2022 breakup.
Since then, Jordan has largely kept his personal life private. His friendship with RAYE has nevertheless generated plenty of interest.
RAYE’s comments appear to settle the romance speculation for now. She and Jordan remain friends while keeping their professional collaboration under wraps.
Whatever they are creating, RAYE is making one thing clear: She is not rushing into romance.
