Heartbreaking.

According to the Daily News, a detective shared more details about the robbery-attempt turned murder of one of the biggest young stars in hip hop, Pop Smoke in early 2020.

LAPD Det. Carlos Camacho testified that a 15-year-old boy – who was the youngest member of a group of teens who broke into the Air BNB home in Hollywood, California that the rapper was staying – murdered him with a gun shot to the chest over a diamond-studded Rolex watch.

During the alleged confession during a recorded interview with a cellmate at a juvenile detention center which was recording last Ma., the young kid admitted that Pop Smoke at first complied to the robbers request, before trying to “rush” them resulting in a confrontation at cost of the Brooklyn native’s life as he was pistol whipped and then shot in the chest.

The group of teens, who was reportedly targeting Pop Smoke’s chain did not end up with that item, instead leaving with his Rolex watch that was later sold for $2,000 according to the testimony.

Information reported yesterday, shared further details including the rapper being kicked after being shot in the chest.
