Ahead of the highly anticipated Gucci Mane VERZUZ Jeezy battle, the two have been posting some memes to get the people ready for the showdown.
Social media thinks Gucci took it too far when he posted a meme mocking Jeezy deceased friend. The meme reads “go dig ya partna up n*gga I bet he can’t say sh*t..” which is a lyric from Gucci’s “Truth (Not a Jeezy Diss)” song. The meme referenced the murder of Pookie Loc, an artist signed to Jeezy’s label CTE who was shot and killed by Gucci Mane in an act of self-defense, according to reports.
Some people are saying Gucci took the trolling too far. Freddie Gibbs also spoke out about the battle. He says, via Twitter, “@jeezy n*gga smoke yo partner and u bout to sit in the room and do a verzuz with him. Don’t talk no street sh*t to me fam..”
This is becoming very messy.
