Lala Anthony is ready to move forward with her love life following getting divorced from Carmelo Anthony.
As reported on ET, during an exclusive interview, she spoke on her new chapter. The Power actress said,
“I am just really about self-love and taking care of myself. Obviously, my son, Kiyan, is 14, in high school, he is my priority, but I’m really just about tapping into me and what do I like to do and what do I enjoy. It has always been about everyone else but me and this year I kind of want to make it a little bit about me.”
Lala also spoke on new romance for 2022. She said, “we’ll see what happens.” She also shared what she’s looking for in a partner. She wants someone she can have fun with, laugh and have a good time. Lala said, “chill and easy because that is pretty much my personality.”
After 11 years of marriage, Lala filed for divorce from Carmelo in June, citing irreconcilable differences. It was the second time they split. In 2017 they separated after alleged infidelity; however, they seemingly reconciled in 2018. They share a 14-year-old son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.
