Philadelphia Rapper, Chynna, Passes Away At 25

Rapper, Chynna Rogers, has passed away at the age of 25. The rapper passed away today, her family confirmed through her management.  “Chynna was deeply loved and will be sorely missed,” they wrote in a statement. At this time, her cause of death is unknown.

Chynna began her career at the age of 14, signing with Ford Models. She released her first singles in the early ’10s, and found online success in 2013’s “Selfie” and 2014’s “Glen Coco.” She was mentored by the late A$AP Yams, and her affiliation with the A$AP Mob helped shape her music career.

She was open about her  opiate addiction that she struggled with at the wake of her career. She addressed it in her 2016 mixtape, ‘Ninety.’ She released Ninety on her 22nd birthday, having accomplished three months of sobriety.

Her final release was December’s in case i die first EP.
