Saweetie is speaking out about the elevator altercation that happened between her and Quavo.
Reported on Complex, she confirmed the incident happened last year, and they have since reconciled.
“This unfortunate incident happened a year ago; while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship, and we have both since moved on. I kindly ask that everyone respect my privacy during this time.”

Earlier today, we reported the LAPD is investigating the incident as a domestic violence situation. The City Attorney is reviewing the matter to see if either party will face charges.
Quavo hasn’t spoke out yet. Last month, the couple called it quits after dating since 2018. Saweetie said she, “endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.” A few days later, Quavo spoke out via Twitter and admitted he disappointed his former “Icy Girl,” but also claims she wasn’t the “woman he thought she was.”
