Shenseea and Megan Thee Stallion dropped their first collab, and it’s not sitting well with the Internet.
The two ladies teased “Lick” all week, and fans were excited for it to be released. However, after it dropped, online critics felt the song was basic and a knock-off Caribbean version of Megan and Cardi B’s collab on “WAP.”
Take note that the fans commenting are seemingly genuine fans of Shenseea. Ultimately, some fans feel the song was beneath her, and they could have done a better collab. One user said, “Shenseea really had [an opportunity] for another hit and say “put yuh back in it.” Another, “I love shenseea bad but this new song lordddd.”
