Rapper Rod Wave has fans thinking big after responding to hip-hop’s DJ Akademiks’ tweet and teasing a potential stadium tour with NBA YoungBoy.
The Florida rapper addressed the possibility Sunday (Sept. 27), responding to media personality DJ Akademiks, who called for a joint run between the two stars.
“A YB x ROD WAVE tour,” Akademiks wrote on X. “Just take my bank account! Matter of fact an album, EP… we need dis!”
Rod Wave responded with a message that immediately sent speculation into overdrive.
“I told yb we going stadium,” he wrote.
The exchange has fueled talk of a possible tour, collaborative project or both. Rod Wave and YoungBoy have already connected musically on “Home Ain’t Home,” giving fans a glimpse of what a larger partnership could sound like.
