As we know, media mogul Oprah Winfrey was set to be the executive producer of a documentary titled, United. The doc was going to be surrounding women who have accused Russell Simmons of rape and sexual assault.
It was recently reported that Oprah decided to step down from her role due to “creative” differences. “I have decided that I will no longer be executive producer on The Untitled Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering Documentary and it will not air on Apple TV+,” Winfrey said via a statement. “First and foremost, I want it to be known that I unequivocally believe and support the women Their stories deserve to be told and heard.”
Russell Simmons’ daughters took to Instagram to voice their opinion concerning the matter. Aiko uploads a photo of what appears to be a conversation being held between her and Ming Lee. She captions the photo, “You don’t even know how mad Oprah makes me.”
