Watch The Throne turns 6 today and it may be the last time we ever get to see a Jay Z and Kanye collaboration again.
Yes I know it’s hard to believe but here are 5 reasons why it probably won’t ever happen again.
- Kanye West reportedly tried to force a friendship between his wife Kim Kardashian and Beyonce. A source says this is what ignited the rift between him and the Carters . The source went on to say Beyonce and Kim Kardashian have nothing in common but there is no beef.

- Jay Z and Beyonce didn’t attend Kanye & Kim’s wedding in 2014 and he removed Jay Z’s name out of the lyrics to Cold during his set at Bonnaroo.
- ‘Ye was reportedly mad that Bey & Jay Z didn’t show more support to Kim after the robbery incident in Paris. I mean…what do you want them to do?
- Kanye’s 20 minute rant about Beyonce and warned Jay Z not to send his “killers” after him. Enough said.
- And last but not least, Jay Z’s subliminal on “Kill Jay Z” which wasn’t really a subliminal since we all know it was directed towards Kanye
And a bonus….I don’t think Beyonce or Jay Z ever fully got over this:
This hurts to see the two not being on good terms especially since they were always close. Kanye has always referred to Hov as his big brother and responsible for putting ‘Ye on in the game. Jay Z always thought of Kanye as a musical genius.
Hopefully they can find common ground and deliver us the Watch The Throne 2 that was supposed to drop last year but by the looks of it, the chances of that happening are slim.
