Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein can put his legal battle behind him.
He won’t even have to address/admit any wrongdoing or serve any jail time after a $25 million settlement was reached. Weinstein doesn’t even have to spend a dime, the money is covered by his insurance companies and will be given out to the dozens of women who accused him of sexual misconduct.
The Washington Posts reports that it’s unclear how much each alleged victim will receive. However, at least four are not participating in the settlement and plan to oppose the deal in court.
Weinstein still faces two rape charges and had court on January 6th. He faces life in prison if convicted.
