50 Cent has decided to give back to charity in a major way. The Queens-born mogul, sold his 50,000 square foot Connecticut mansion for $3 million and plans on giving that money to charity. The announcement was made on Twitter. See post below.

50 purchased the house, that was once owned by boxing legend Mike Tyson, in 2007 and it has a total of 52 rooms. Those rooms include 21 bedrooms, 25 bathrooms and 9 kitchens, an outdoor pool, and an indoor and outdoor basketball court. 50 plans to donate all of the money to his foundation, G-Unity Foundation.

This foundation gives grants to nonprofit organizations that focuses on improving quality of life in impoverished areas.
