6LACK shared the release date for his upcoming album East Atlanta Love Letter by sending an exclusive group customized postcards featuring the album cover. On Friday, the singer launched the next phase of his rollout campaign with a new video of confessionals starring a diverse range of stars.
The video, titled “Can I Ask You A Question About Love?” features Majid Jordan, Davido, Elton John, and more. They contributed to the video by giving open, honest answers about what love means to them.
For his last album cycle, a large portion of 6LACK’s promotion was dedicated to the correct pronunciation of his name (“It’s pronounced ‘black’ not ‘6-lack’!”). Although is an on-going joke that is lovingly still being said by both 6LACK and his fans, this campaign is surely different.
The video is a call to action, as it prompts fans to make their own confessionals as well. Watch the debut series of confessionals in the first “Can I Ask You About Love?“ video below.
