When news broke of Harlem rapper being detained in a Swedish jail, he was showered with support.

Of course, his A$AP Mob crew has his back and even vowed to never perform in Sweden. Other artists like Tyler The Creator, School Boy Q, and T.I made the same promise.

Other celebrities like Justin Bieber, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Rihanna, G Eazy, Post Malone, Miguel and more have also shown support for the East Coast rapper.

The “Goldie” rapper is even getting political support. Congressman Adriano Espaillat, U.S. Representative for New York’s Thirteenth Congressional District, is “advocating for Rocky’s return. He reportedly addressed several letters to the U.S. State Department, U.S. Embassy in Sweden, and the Swedish Ambassador in Washington, outlining Rocky’s innocence and pleading for justice in his case,” an article reports.

Civil rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton is pitching in also. Reported on NYDN, “he met with Renee Black, A$AP Rocky’s mother, and other relatives of the men arrested in Stockholm on June 30, at his National Action Network corporate offices in New York. Sharpton is calling for members of Congress to join him in appealing to the State Department to intervene, and he is seeking permission to visit A$AP as a minister.”
