A$AP Rocky is officially a dad.
The Harlem rapper and his girlfriend Rihanna welcomed their bundle of joy on May 13. The couple had a boy, and the name hasn’t been revealed yet.
During a new interview with Daze, A$AP spoke about the type of father he’ll be. The “Fashion Killa” rapper said, “I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what. I actually love to watch cartoons — I’ve watched like Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig, and Baby Shark.”
A$AP told Daze he wants to raise “open-minded children.” He said, “Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
In March, Rihanna spoke on the type of mom she’ll be during an interview. As reported on Page Six, Riri said she will be a “psycho mom,” and if anyone talks about her baby, it’s “over.” She said, “I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it.” She added, “if anyone dares to talk about her baby, ‘It’s over.’”
As far as music news, A$AP told the magazine he and ERL has a collaboration dropping in August. In addition, Rocky has another partnership with Mercedes-Benz [and PacSun] in the works. In February, Rihanna promised fans they would get a new album from her, we just don’t know when.
