Something doesn’t seem right.

A near-death experience left a woman in a vegetative state for over a decade. She was receiving care at a Phoenix Hacienda HealthCare facility where nurses would check on her often.

A few days after Christmas, one of the caretakers heard her moaning. This alarmed the staff and no one knew she was pregnant until she started giving birth. With the help of the nurses, she birthed a healthy baby boy.

This still leaves the main question unanswered, HOW? It’s obvious some sort of sexual misconduct took place. The health facility is investigating but didn’t release any details about it. A spokesperson for the health center gave a statement and said,

“as an organization, Hacienda HealthCare stands fully committed to getting to the truth of what, for us, represents an unprecedented matter.”

In another statement, another spokesperson said,

“Hacienda is already conducting a comprehensive internal review of our processes, protocols, and people to ensure that every single Hacienda resident is as safe and well cared for as possible. Anything less than that is unacceptable to our team, our company’s leaders and the communities we serve.”

No arrests have been made but in the state of Arizona, sexually assaulting a vulnerable adult is a felony.
