Did an unwanted guest try to go on DaBaby’s property?
As reported on Hot New Hip Hop, an alleged shooting happened at DaBaby‘s home.
North Carolina’s Troutman Police Department spoke on the incident on April 13 at 6:45 p.m. Authorities responded to a residence after receiving a call about a shooting. When law enforcement arrived, they found one subject suffering from a “non-life-threatening gunshot wound.” According to the press release, the subject was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
The police haven’t released the name of the intruder. The cops reportedly said, “This is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community at large.” They continued, “a call came into Iredell County 911 reporting that a subject had been shot on the property of rapper Jonathan’ DaBaby’ Kirk.” They also said the shooting happened “near the football field on the property.” In addition, the injured subject “trespassed onto the property.”
A Facebook post revealed the call to 911 was “very tense.” The person on the phone was reportedly told to “secure his weapon,” but the caller refused due to concerns of more intruders.
