This is an exciting collaboration.

An unreleased Kobe Bryant album with features from 50 Cent, Black Rob, and Destiny’s Child appeared online.

Hip Hop N’ More reports Kobe’s 2000 L.P. “magically” surfaced on the internet. It has 16 tracks with features from 50 Cent, Nas, Black Thought, and Destiny’s Child. The DC joint is called “Baby, Baby, Baby,” a remix to their classic “No, No, No.” This new version is different from the snippet already online. It also has the Tyra featured track called “K.O.B.E.”

Throughout Kobe’s N.B.A. career, he also played around with music. According to the article, L.L. Cool J talked Kobe out of dropping a “gangster album.” L.L. said he heard the album and was “confused.” L.L. said,

“He had a gangsta rap album. He played me that album; we’re sitting in a parking lot. I was confused. I was sittin’ there, like, ‘What are we doing? You got endorsements; what are you doing?’ It had to be the funniest moment of my life, listening to him do gangsta rap.”

Kobe was tragically killed last year in a helicopter crash alongside his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant, and seven others.
