While some people are celebrating their dad or father figure today, some can only hold on to the memories.
Angela Simmons, whose son’s dad was tragically killed, wrote a heartfelt message on IG for anyone who can relate.
Angela and her son’s father were engaged but had broke things off in January of 2017. In November 2018, someone entered his home and shot and killed him.
Since the tragic death, Simmons has been finding ways to cope with the pain. She often uses the term “it takes a village,” reminding people that her family is the ones helping her and her baby boy Sutton Jr. get through this.
