The award of Rap Album of the Year, was a big conversation as the nominations were handed out for the Grammys.
Yesterday (Feb. 10), Cardi B won the big award for her album Invasion of Privacy, becoming the first solo female MC to ever win the award. Her win caused tons of reactions including of Ariana Grande who was on Twitter discussing the awards like most of us.
She called the decision “trash,” and “literal bulls***” after the win.
It wasn’t necessarily because Cardi won, but because Mac Miller’s album Swimming didn’t get the win. She did apologize, and clear up the reaction on Twitter.
Cardi B didn’t forget about Miller though. She made sure to show him some love during an Instagram post in which she revealed that she would share the award with his family after her win.
