Ashanti responds to rumors
On Sunday (Dec. 4), Ashanti and Nelly hit the stage to perform their throwback hit “Body On Me.” Though the two are no longer together, fans went crazy over their sexy stage performance.
Following the performance, during an interview on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Ashanti answered the rumors about their relationship. When asked if she seen the internet chatter she says, “wow. Oh my gosh, I saw a lot of comments.” She continued, “I mean my reaction was ‘wow,’ you know? It was a lot of comments and a lot of people wanting that.”
She goes on to say that she and Nelly are in a better space. “What I will say is we’re in a better place, you know? ‘Cause before it was like [displays signs of anger.] You know, we’re cool now.”
