Ashanti has some good news to share!
The singer has revealed that she tested negative for COVID-19. If you remember the day of the VERZUZ battle between her and Keyshia Cole, she stated that she had tested positive for COVID but was still willing to do it.
Both Keyshia Cole and Ashanti would go on IG Live to address the issue. Ashanti said, “Listen, I still feel bad… But to have the opportunity to do it, to have it be postponed, and the fact that I’m not in ICU right now, I’m super grateful for that.”
Ashanti went on IG to give an update on COVID. “Starting off the new year Amazing and Covid free!!! Got my negative result back two days ago. Happy New Year Yall! Let’s go 202WON! ThankuGod.”
Keyshia Cole and Ashanti’s VERZUZ battle has been rescheduled to January 9th, at 8 pm.
