Today is a special day for NBA star LeBron James!
What he referred to as one of the greatest moments of his life happened and it includes opening the I Promise school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Today was their day open and LeBron was suited up and ready to go!
The I Promise school currently hosts 240 students in the third and fourth grade for the year 2018-2019, however by 2022 there will be around 1000 students ranging from first to eight grade.
The kids were not required to bring anything but themselves this morning, as backpacks and supplies awaited their arrival on the classroom tables.
