Beto O’ Rourke ran one hell of a campaign in Texas, but came up just short of unseating incumbant Ted Cruz in the United States senate.
Speaking to a crowd of supporters, Beto expressed his thoughts about their efforts which was aired on television.
“All of you, are showing the country how you do this. I’m so f***ing proud of you guys!”
Eyes are all on his next move, as the conversation in politics shifts from the midterm elections to the 2020 presidential elections.
It has been 30 years, since Texas had a Democrat win a Senate seat.
