The culture recently lost a fan favorite, Betty White.
The legendary Golden Girls actress passed away on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2021). She reportedly died peacefully in her sleep at her home. She was 99 years old.
TMZ reports Betty died from a stroke she suffered a week before she passed away in the latest update. The publication says, “Betty’s cause of death is listed as a cerebrovascular accident, according to her death certificate, which is a loss of blood flow to part of the brain, resulting in brain tissue damage.”
On January 17, Betty would have celebrated her 100th birthday. The publication also points out that the film Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration will be released and about her legacy on her born day. It features actors like Morgan Freeman, Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, and more.
