Last week, Beyonce surprised her fans with a surprise with the release of her Netflix documentary and live album, both named “Homecoming”. In the ending credits, Queen Bey recorded Frankie Beverly and Maze’s R&B 1981 classic ‘Before I Let Go’.

According to Rolling Out, Beverly stated that he was blown away by the remake and called it blessing. Beverly said that he didn’t even know about the song until he received a phone call from her people. “She kept it quiet until her people called me one day maybe a week or two ago. When they played it, that’s when I heard the first draft of it, and I was blown away. It’s a blessing.”
