Ghetto Film School Is Developing & Celebrating The Next Generation Of Storytellers
Ghetto Film School (GFS) is an award-winning nonprofit founded in 2000 to educate, develop and celebrate the next generation
of great storytellers.
With locations in New York City, Los Angeles and London, GFS equips students for top universities and careers in the creative
industries through two tracks: an introductory education program for high school students and early-career support for alumni and
young professionals, 14-34 years of age.
GFS supplies
strategic programming leadership
in partnership with public school systems, creative corporations, universities,
community based organizations and arts institutions all around.
And GFS delivers authentic and culturally competent programming and creative impact to over
8,000 local young creatives
globally each year with over
50 unique community partners.
GFS Roster
identifies, develops, and connects creative talent (18 - 34 years old) through curated programming throughout
New York, London and Los Angeles. GFS Roster community consists of over 4,000 individuals that receive access to job
announcements and career-advising groups, and anchors emerging artists in a creative community they can lean on for support.
