Big Sean is breaking his silence on why he left G.O.O.D Music. The rapper who signed to Ye’s label in 2007 decided to explain his reasoning on Twitter.
He begins the series of tweets by saying, “By the way this the first project where I’m on my own label as well, no more lil dawg s**t!!!! I bossed up! #DONLIFE”
A fan reacted to the news that Big Sean had revealed and responded by saying, “That’s a forever brotherhood, but business-wise, I had to start getting a bigger cut! I worked my way out that deal.”
While signed to G.O.O.D Music, Sean released five albums including
TWENTY88
with Jhene Aiko and several mixtapes. Big Sean’s latest project was released on his new label
FF to Def Entertainment
on October 29th, which features the song
Loyal to a Fault
featuring Bryson Tiller and Lil Durk.
