Former President Bill Clinton is ready to tell it all.
Reported on Daily Mail, Clinton has an upcoming documentary where he talks about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. He says that his reason for it was to “manage his anxieties.”
In the doc, he says that the former White House intern helped him to take his mind off the pressure of being president.
Clinton addressed how the scandal impacted his life. He was impeached and removed out of office, plus he embarrassed his wife, Hillary Clinton because he lied at first and she believed him. They had to go to marriage counseling after the ordeal.
Although Lewinsky partook in the fling, Clinton feels a lot of guilt for what happened. He said he felt “terrible that her life was defined by their affair.” Lewinsky had it rough for many years after the situation.
This is the first time Clinton is publicly apologizing to Lewinsky. Back in 2018, he said he didn’t owe her one.
The four-part series also explores other aspects of Clinton’s time in the White House. It’ll be featured on Hulu on Friday (March 6).
