It came to a huge SHOCK when 21 Savage was arrested by ICE on Sunday (Feb. 3) and could possibly get deported back to the U.K. When the details of his arrest came to light, many artists like Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Wale came to 21’s defense.

The “A Lot” rapper is receiving more support from Black Lives Matter. Reported on a site, “the movement’s co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors started a petition on OrganizeFor.org demanding a stop to 21’s deportation. The petition explains how 21, born She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is just one example of a larger issue of Black deportation.”

21’s legal rep, Charles Kuck asserts that 21’s arrest was “based upon incorrect information about prior criminal charges and [ICE is] now refusing to release him on a bond of any amount. Charles also said his client isn’t being charged with any crimes and 21’s detainment is a “civil law violation.”

The petition already has over 146,000 signatures. If you’d like to sign it, click here.
