Even two months after it’s release, Marvel’s Black Panther is still breaking records

The movie is the U.S’ highest grossing superhero film of all time and is on track to become one of the top 3 highest grossing films in U.S history already surpassing Titanic.

Now, T’Challa and the nation of Wakanda will be the first film to be screened in Saudi Arabia when they lift their 35 year cinema ban.

According to the Washington Post, AMC and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia will open up  30-40 movie theaters in 15 cities across the country within the next five years with aiming to have 100 theaters by 2030.

The first film to be screened in the movie theater? Black Panther

The cinema ban lift is in an effort by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to generate economic restructure in the country before their oil reserves run out.

History-making!
