Floyd’s family met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Today marks the first anniversary of Floyd’s tragic murder at the hands of Derek Chauvin. Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, told reporters the family had a “great” meeting. He said, “We’re just thankful for what’s going on and we just want the George Floyd Policing Act to be passed.”
