According to reports a mass shooting occurred in Maryland at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis.
The suspected shooter is allegedly in custody, and police were said to have arrived to the scene within a minute of the tragedy.
Many reporters from the Capital Gazette took to social media to recount what took place at the office.
Five deaths have been confirmed and those who are injured have been sent to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
