ICE raids have begun in New York, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, and San Francisco.
Donald Trump “promised” this would happen and reported on NYDN, “massive ICE raids were initially planned for June, but Trump postponed them to see if Congress could devise a plan to address the crisis at the U.S. southern border.”
Mayor de Blasio called the raid a “political strategy to keep people divided to the maximum extent possible.” City officials reminded immigrants that they DO NOT have to open the door for ICE agents or speak to them.
