The people love Cardi B!
The rapper spent some time at the Marlboro Houses in Brooklyn Thursday night, to greet fans and hand coats and sneakers to children.
“I want these kids to learn from me that you got to give back to the hood,” she told a group of reporters. “These kids follow me, these kids listen to my music.”
As part of her work she also received a key to the Marlboro Houses for helping out.
She wrote a message on Instagram looking forward to bringing the event to other parts of New York City.
