Only Cardi B. can do this!

Reported on Bossip, the Bronx rapper is still in a heated legal dispute over the cover art for her Gangsta B*tch Music Vol. 1 mixtape. The man on the photo claims the rapper didn’t have permission to use it.

Cardi was asked by the courts what type of image she was trying to portray when she released the project. She compared herself to a cartoon character and referred to herself as a “gangster.”

“I mean I am, I am a gangster. Like, I feel like I am a gangster, like I’m a gangsta. You know? I’m a stand-up girl. You know what I’m saying. I’m a good girl. But you know I have a lot of heart. So I consider myself a gangster. I’m from the hood. And that’s what people from the hood like to consider themselves. I have the heart of a lion; so that’s what I am.”

She even considered herself to be like “Buttercup” from the animated series on Cartoon Network The Powerpuff Girls.

“Like I’m not a pretty girl, or I am a pretty girl. But I’m not like this, this pink girly girl. I’m like the Buttercup, you know? There’s three powerful girls. There’s Blossom and there’s Bubbles and there’s Buttercup, the green one. That’s me. That’s who I am.”

Cardi went own to criticize the man suing her for $5 million claiming that her mixtape didn’t even make $1 million and he’s trying to get over on her.
