Prayers up! Empire actor Jussie Smollett was shamefully attacked by two masked men in Chicago, early this morning (Jan. 29).
The actor arrived in Chicago late Monday night (Jan. 28), when he was approached and attack by the two men. Smollett’s attackers put a noose around his neck, poured bleach all over him, and left him with a fractured rib as they yelled, “This is MAGA country.”
The actor is currently recovering.
Many celebrities and fans are showing their support for the actor during this time. Michael B Jordan, Tracee Ellis Ross, Dwyane Wade and many more are standing with Smollett against this hateful act.
