Charges against Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, are dropped for good.

On March 13, 2020, Taylor was

in her home at the hands of Louisville cops. Walker fired a warning shot after police executed a no-knock warrant. Walker claims the police never announced themselves, but they claim they did.

John Mattingly. He was facing an assault and attempted murder charge.

Walker always maintained his innocence.

Charges against Walker were initially dropped without prejudice in May last year, but it meant he could face the charges again. Now, a judge has dismissed them permanently.

There were three officers involved, but none were charged directly for killing Taylor, only for endangering the neighbors.
