10 year-old Michael Thomas Jr. was playing in his grandmother’s yard before police officers wrongfully detained him for a crime he did not commit.

According to reports, the Chicago Police received a call about a Black male with a gun in the area that fit the desricption of the 10 year-old innocent child. Michael Thomas Jr. was handcuffed by police and questioned about his whereabouts and whether or not he was in possession of a firearm.

Michael Thomas Jr.’s family recorded the incident stating: ‘Ten years old, you get handcuffed? You scarred him for life.’

Chicago police are currently being investigated in regards to this incident!
